Getting started in business with Gastronova

Investing in a food truck or food trailer is an important business step. The right form of financing will help you get started quickly and efficiently, without putting unnecessary strain on your cash flow.

Choose financing based on who you are

Are you planning to expand your business with a food truck or food trailer? You can choose between self-financing, a loan or operating lease. Together we will find the model that supports the growth of your business.

1. Self-financing

What does it mean? Self-financing means that you buy the food truck or food trailer with your own funds, without the need for a loan or leasing.

Payment terms

  • 60 % of the price on signing the contract
  • 40 % of the price before delivery

Advantages

  • No interest and no commitments
  • the food truck or food trailer belongs to you immediately
  • You have no restrictions on using the trailer

Disadvantages

  • Requires sufficient capital
  • May limit your liquidity and business development

30 000 € = 18 000 € on signing + 12 000 € before delivery

2. Business loan (Tatra banka)

What does it mean? If you do not have enough cash for self-financing, you can use a business loan from Tatra banka. This loan allows you to spread the cost of buying a food truck or food trailer into long-term instalments.

Parameters

Loan amount: 5 000 – 50 000 € (also without collateral)
Repayment period: 12 – 72 months
Interest rate: individual (indicatively from 6.5 – 9 % p.a.)
Drawdown: once the loan is approved, it can be used directly to pay the deposit and the balance

3. Operating lease

What does it mean? Operating lease means that you rent the trailer for a certain period and do not pay the full amount at once. At the end of the lease term, you can choose one of three end-of-lease options.

Lease term: 15 – 60 months
Down payment: 0 %
Approval: within a few hours

  • Does not burden cash flow – the deposit is refundable
  • Fixed instalments make planning easier

  • Returning the trailer (not recommended)
