Hygiene in the food truck: what you need to do and how we can help you

If you want to operate a food truck legally and without unnecessary stress, you have to follow a set of hygiene rules. It may sound complicated, but it’s actually easy to set up – especially if you have the right partner.

1. Legal requirements for hygiene in mobile catering

Although the laws do not specify the details of the layout of food trucks, the general standards arising from:

  • Regulations (EC) No. 852/2004 on food hygiene
  • Slovak Act No. 152/1995 Coll. on food
  • Decrees No. 533/2007 Coll. (conditions for food establishments)
